In P.E. today we did long jump and high jump. We are practising taking off from one foot and landing on two.
Today we visited The Suter Art Gallery and enjoyed learning all about the new and old buildings and artwork. We had a lot of fun. Thank you to Esther who taught us, and to our amazing parent helpers!
On Friday Victoria read us a story about Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs. Some of us decided to make our own pirate ships at discovery time. Water play was great with the warmer weather too!
We have been learning about lines of symmetry today. If a shape is symmetrical it means that it looks the same on both sides of the line of symmetry.
Last week with Caroline we wrote our own story: The Stomping Bush. It is based off the story The Hissing Bush by Trish Puharich.
We even illustrated it ourselves!

We like using the whiteboards to write on because when we make mistakes we can easily erase them and write words again.
